Winter Update

So Christmas 2012 has past and new year is on it's way.

Due to work and many other things I did very little racing over the past year. Did a fair bit of bashing with the Carnage but had no time to race.

I'm hoping things will settle down and this coming year will be better racing for me. As yet I'm not sure where I will be this season but I really do want to get some racing in. This year I'm planning on racing a Vantage in the 4x4 class. I love the Carnage so much and want to continue driving that chassis so in a month or two I hope to get the Vantage and hop it up to comp level.

Spring Update

Well..supposedly summer is here and the SE of England is in a drought... yeah right!!

It's been so wet down here this past couple of months I've done no racing at all. My Club track at NBC (Norfolk Buggy Club) has basically been washed out and the first regional that was close enough for me to try went a head but under storm conditioned so I passed on that one.

I have taken the time to do some preparation and tuning though. I've added sway bars to my Carnage and increased my spares for both the Carnage and Edge, I'll soon have what I hope will be a full seasons worth of spares, but hopefully I wont break too much. I also now have a Etronics Brushless system ready to go into the Edge once it's race ready.

I was hoping to race the Edge this coming weekend at the NBC but yet again the weather is favoring only the bold and to be honest the Edge is not ready yet as I'm waiting for some parts to arrive from Overseas.

Hopefully will be some race news soon.

Introduction

Hello readers and racers.

welcome to the unofficial Team FTX RC blog. It's unofficial currently as FTX do not sponsor team members or promote racing for their brand of RC cars and trucks. However as a huge fan of the products I'm personally wanting to promote these excellent vehicles not only from a budget bashing and beginners point of view but also a competitive racing point of view.

I currently own the FTX Carnage which I bash around with very often and will soon be switching to the FTX Edge and Vantage for competition racing. I hope to introduce people from my region to the FTX product line and unofficial team and eventually have a few people supporting FTX from all over the country.

This summer will see me racing locally and across the East of England region and I will hopefully have race reports from most events.

I'm not the best driver in the world but you don't have to be the best to have the best fun.

Jason.
